Posted by: Santa Monica Fertility   •   Categories: IVF, Trying to Conceive,

There are new possibilities for fertility and embryo testing in development.  A possible new test coming out of our colleagues labs at Oxford may help with IVF success rates by testing the DNA in the embryo. This has the potential to increase the success rates of IVF in older women, women over 30-35 years old, as far as 75%. The test cannot improve of change the egg, sperm or embryo quality, but it may be even more effective in knowing the health of the embryo, giving patients a more clear answer as to which embryo will be more likely to lead to a healthy pregnancy and child.
