Crystal Benavides joins Santa Monica Fertility as our Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist. She received her certificate for assistantship in Long Beach, and plans to continue working toward becoming a registered nurse. Crystal assists our patients with various blood tests and screenings. Her friendliness and sweet nature help to calm our more “needle-phobic” patients, and she is often complimented for her smooth blood draws.
Crystal felt the calling to enter the medical/nursing profession early in life, and she has always desired to help others. Before coming to Santa Monica Fertility, Crystal worked as a child care professional, which helped to increase her love of children and ultimately led to her interest in Reproductive Technologies.
Growing up, Crystal divided her time between Long Beach and Mexico; both places where she can enjoy the company of her fun-loving family. In her spare time Crystal loves to cook authentic Mexican food for her friends and family – and even sometimes for her very lucky coworkers.
